Visited Independence Plaza at Space Center Houston (the official Visitors’ Center next to NASA’s Johnson Space Center), looking at the fabrication of the supporting structure as well as the shuttle itself and the modified Boeing 747 shuttle carrier aircraft NASA 905. Space Center Gift and Souvenir Shop chooses to stock “Made in China” souvenirs. I’ve included some “Made in USA” alternatives in the edited photos.
